Of course, you can’t research the Vikings without having a first-hand look at one of their ships. The ‘Viking Ship Museum’ in Roskilde was exceptionally well laid out. I was in awe of the Viking endurance when I saw the conditions, they had to sail the seas in. These men were phenomenally hardy and would have probably given Bear Grylls a run for his money.

After the museum we were able to find more Dolmens and Passage graves nearby as Denmark is full of them.
